Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Spread the diced potatoes across the baking sheets and roast uncovered for 25 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and browned.
While the potatoes are cooking, heat a large skillet to medium and add the safflower oil.
Add the ground bison and chicken liver to the skillet over medium heat and cook until browned.
Add the frozen edamame, diced summer squash, and spinach to the bison. Mix well to combine and sauté for another 3-4 minutes, until everything is cooked and tender.
Turn off the heat and add the diced apples to the skillet, stirring to combine.
Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Once the roasted potatoes and bison mix are all cool, combine, and add the fish oil and Balance IT Plus supplement to the mixture, stirring well to ensure even distribution.
Portion the mixture into daily serving sizes according to your dog's size and calorie needs, and store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

Tips and Notes
If you don't want to make this much food, you can halve the recipe because the bison comes in a 2-pack
This recipe provides 5 days of food for my dog, but please see the 'how much to feed' guide to determine the appropriate amount for your own dog.
Wait for the food to cool to at least below 70 degrees Celsius (feels only slightly warm if you stick your finger in) before adding the fish oil and Balance IT Plus supplement. The heat can degrade the oil and vitamins.
