Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs of ground beef, 85% lean

  • 120 grams of canola oil

  • 5 grams (or ml) of Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet Liquid

  • 448 grams of whole-wheat pasta, dry

  • 560 grams of raw pears, diced

  • 168 grams of raw carrots, diced

  • 232 grams of frozen, chopped broccoli

  • 200 grams of fresh green beans, chopped

  • 27 grams of Morton Iodized Salt

  • 82 grams of Balance IT® Canine+ supplement

Tools:

  • Food scale

  • 2 large pots

  • Large skillet

  • Cutting board and knife

Instructions:

  1. Start by cooking the whole-wheat pasta. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the canola oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.

  3. Introduce the diced carrots, chopped green beans, and frozen broccoli to the skillet. Stir occasionally until the vegetables are tender and thoroughly cooked.

  4. Season the mixture with Morton Iodized Salt.

  5. Turn off the heat and incorporate the diced pears, stirring well to mix.

  6. Once the pasta and beef-veggie mixture are cooled, combine them in a spacious bowl.

  7. Pour in the Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet Liquid and Balance IT® Canine supplement. Ensure you stir well for even distribution.

  8. Divide the mixture into daily servings based on your dog's size and caloric needs. Use an airtight container for storage in the refrigerator or freezer.

  9. Serve the day's portion, and watch as your canine companion delights in their tasty meal!

Tips and Notes:

  • It's crucial to wait for the food to cool adequately before adding the Omega-3 and Balance IT® Canine supplement to preserve the nutritional value.
